This fine, ultra-thin, 2-ply 100% alpaca yarn by Isager is spun and dyed in Peru. A wonderful stash enhancer, this yarn can be used individually for shawls, scarves or vests but is primarily designed to be knitted together with other yarns.

Combined with other yarns Alpaca 1 adds softness, a more interesting structure and the opportunity to create new shades when combined with another colour. One continuous strand of Alpaca 1 can also add unity and bind colours together in a work where many colours are used.  Larger needles can be used if this is needed for your pattern of choice.

Suggested needle size: 2 - 3mm as a single strand

Combining Alpaca 1 with other Isager yarns:
Alpaca 1 and Spinni held together are knitted on 3 – 4 mm needles
Alpaca 1 and Highland held together are knitted on 3.5 – 4.5 mm needles
Alpaca 1 and Isager Tweed held together are knitted on 4 – 5 mm needles
